48th Annual Spud Tournament Wrap-Up

Thank you and congratulations to all participants, supporters, and volunteers who made the 48th Annual Ladner's Source for Sports Spud Minor Hockey Tournament a resounding success.

Champions
The Spud is always a hard-fought battle and to be crowned Spud Champion is a significant accomplishment. Congratulations to the Spud Champions and runners-up on making it to the big game!

Awards

• The Drew Power Leadership Award was presented to Samson MacLennan from the . This award is based on an outstanding work ethic, striving for team goals above personal goals, inspiring teammates, loving hockey, and commitment to the game.
• The Jeff Mobbs Memorial Award was presented to Shea Williams from the U11 AA Kings County Coyotes. This is awarded to the top defenceman in the U11 championship game.
• The Stu MacFadyen Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Curtis Hall. Curtis has been deeply involved with the Spud - first as a player, and for the past number of years as the scheduler, results collector, and on-ice officials coordinator. (We think he sleeps in the tournament office.)
