Drew Power Award

Drew Power Leadership Award

On Sunday, December 16th, 2012 the Prince Edward Island hockey community lost a great leader to a house fire. Drew Power played his minor hockey in Charlottetown. He was captain and undisputed leader of the Charlottetown Midget AAA Abbies during the 1997, 1998, and 1999 seasons. An exceptional player with an outstanding work ethic, Drew was inspirational to his teammates. The Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association would like to memorialize the qualities that Drew brought to our hockey community with a leadership award. The Drew Power Leadership Award will be presented to a CMHA member playing in the SPUD Minor Hockey Tournament who best fulfils the following qualities:
  • Outstanding work ethic.
  • Puts team goals above personal goals.
