When: February 1st to February 4th, 2024
Where: The Spud Tournament is held primarily at rinks in Charlottetown:
- MacLauchlan Arenas A & B at the Bell Aliant Centre
- Simmons Arena
- Cody Banks Arena
- Eastlink Centre PEI
Other rinks outside Charlottetown may also be used:
- APM Centre (Cornwall, PEI)
- Eliyahu Wellness Centre (North Rustico, PEI)
- Crapaud Arena (Crapaud, PEI)

Located at MacLauchlan Arena, Bell Aliant Centre, University of Prince Edward Island (550 University Avenue).
Tournament Registration:
Registration for the 47th Annual Ladner's Source for Sports Spud Minor Hockey Tournament will open on August 10th. To access the registration form please click here. Please ensure that you follow all registration instructions through to the end. Once your registration has been completed, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive an email confirmation, your team registration has not been received.
The Spud began 49 years ago, but was cancelled the past two years due to COVID-19 - the 47th edition of the tournament is taking place in 2024. This tournament is one of the premier AAA hockey tournaments within Atlantic Canada each year. It attracts the top players from U11 to U18 divisions for competitive interprovincial play within Charlottetown and surrounding communities.
