49th Annual Spud Begins Today!
2026-01-29The Spud kicks off January 29, 2026 with four Thursday evening battles at the Bell Aliant Centre.
Today is the day! The 49th Annual Ladner's Source for Sports Spud Minor Hockey Tournament kicks off tonight at the Bell Aliant Centre. Games start on Rink A at 5:30 PM, with host U11 Charlottetown Islanders taking on the Moncton Hawks. This game is followed by host U13 Charlottetown Islanders taking on the Central IcePak from Newfoundland!
On Rink B, there is a U13 battle between the NB East Aces and the Pownal Red Devils at 6:15 PM, followed by a 7:30 PM U16 matchup between the Western Rebels and Central Impact.
